  • Located approximately 20 miles north of Bidg. 011A near the Baltimore Beltway's interchange with the Baltimore Washington Parkway

  • Travel north to exit 25, Route 1 North (Baltimore Avenue).

  • Located across the Potomac River from Downtown Washington D.C.approximately 15 miles south of Bldg.011A

  • Union Station is the Amtrak railroad station in Washington DC
  • Light rail, subway,bus or taxi will be needed to complete the trip to Bldg. 011A
    Washington MetroRail        Information
  • The Greenbelt station on the Green Line is the closest subway stop
  • USDA operates a free shuttle service from the Greenbelt Metro Station to several different buildings. The shuttle leaves from the bus lane every 20 minutes from 6:00 AM to 6:20 PM. Get off the shuttle at the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center stop at Bldg. 003. It is a short walk to Bldg. 011A.

    Local Directions
  • Exit off Washington Beltway at Rt. 1 North (Exit 25, Baltimore Avenue)
  • After 1/2 mile notice the 14-story National Agricultural Library (NAL) on the right
  • There is no left turn from Rt. 1 into the Center so you must turn right onto a small service road leading to the Library. BARC-West map
  • Immediately turn left and cross Route 1 at the stop light.
  • At the first stop sign, turn right.
  • Proceed to the last street, North Drive, and turn left.
  • Bldg. 011A is down this road and off to the right.
